Try using Combat Manager. It's free, and it's utterly brilliant!

Yeah I figured Excel would be the best option, I just wanted to avoid remaking the monster database on excel and hoped I could use table smith to some extent. that's fine though, thanks for the reply.

Hey there, I was wondering if there is a way I can get tablesmith to
keep track of Hit points and other information that I input for battle
purposes. I use a grid style battleboard and I can have up to 10
calculators that keep track of enemy and ally Hit points, is there a
way I can setup tablesmith to work like a calculator by inputing the
damages to certain targets. these calculators turn off automatically
and it drives me nuts, I know I can use Pen n Paper but I'm trying to
be green.
This sounds like a job for Excel rather than TableSmith.
