Application Notes HP/Agilent/Keysight

Hello All,

This may not be the best group to do this, but I will start here.? I am winding down my career and looking to downsize my library.

I have two boxes (the banker's storage box size) of Hp/Agilent/Keysight Application notes that I am looking to donate someplace or someone.? The app notes go all the way back to the 1960's (I picked these up from someone throwing them out when I worked at Agilent in the early 2000's).? I tried donating them to a local college (Massachusetts/New Hampshire area) about 8 years ago but they were not interested. All topics are? covered.? Sorry I do not have a list.

I also have another two boxes (larger than the banker's storage box) that deal with phase noise and the phase noise measurement system (E5500).

If you are local to the Massachusetts/New Hampshire area? I am willing to meet up within reason.? Otherwise,? we can try to work something out.

I hope someone would like them,? I would hate to throw them out.

Reply back or send a email to mikejvir at gmail dot com with the subject line AppNotes

Thanks for your? time

Sincerely

Michael J. Virostko

Hi Mike, if there are no other takers, we could take them at LSSM. They're a bit outside of our scope, but in the same spirit at least. Our documentation scanning queue is very deep, as finding people to man the scanners hasn't been easy, but we'd get to them at some point.

You could ship them down to us (Pittsburgh), or, there's a "friend of LSSM" who lives in NH and may be willing to sit on them until his next visit.

Let me know if you'd like to do this.

There are many such sites of course, but one that aggregates everything would be convenient. If it were suitably replicated, of course.

BTW, LSSM search yields

That's us!

Michael,

Whatever you do make sure they don't get thrown away and go to one of the good folks on this list who may be able to scan them for all of us. There are still a good number of HP app notes that do not have scans widely available online.

Hello All,

Someone did response looking for all the notes just after I posted and has offered to send shipping labels.

Now in all honesty getting rid of the notes (which I have to say is pretty emotional) I would much rather make sure the entire community has access.?? I have asked the person? what he plans to do with them.

I will keep you informed and will weigh options if someone can guarantee the community will have access.

Sincerely,

Mike Virostko

I did offer to make that happen through LSSM, but there was no response.

The only caveat being that it would likely take us awhile. Volunteer help is very difficult to come by these days.

Just a reminder that there is a good collection of app notes here:
