I have a new grandson and would like to embroider a birth announcement for his room but have been unsuccessful in finding one. Any ideas?

Hi Linda

I've done this for friends before. I've found pictures of a clock (time of birth), scales (weight), stork (date) and used the built in fonts on my machine to write the actual information. Then used a nice font (Hooked on Embroidery is a good place to look for great fonts!!!!) for the baby's name at the top.
You could add an appropriate picture at the bottom to finish it off.
All in all, much more fun and personal than finding a ready-done sampler design.

I saw the cutest postage lable design that you put all the information on, for the life of me I cant remember where and I know I saw it with in the last week or two, (old timers ;P). It was like the meter strips with the baby's name, wt, etc all emboridered in it. Wish I could remember where I saw it. :P
