Re: HELP-blood on white quilt square
carolprice2000
I have found that liquid neutrogena soap gets out blood stains and does
not hurt the fabric. I have used it on dried blood and fresh blood. I cover the spot with the soap and just throw it into the wash as normal. I don't bother to soak it or let it sit. All the staind come out. Carol Price |

I am looking for a simple software that will size and change density
I use pe-design for my Esante but it will not let me do anything with larger patterns for my Tajima. I am limited to my smaller hoops I would like to do some lettering but can not go larger than 5x7 with pe- design. I am just trying to get started here and have a very limited supply of money. I have no plans at this time to start digitizing I just want to sew. Thanks Pat |

wrote: Pam, I don't know if this will help you on the quilt but this is a really good thing to know.. Have you ever heard of Goop (brand) handcleaner? It is for sale on the net and various stores. If you have ink pen break in washer, blood, grass stains or any really difficult stain to get out of clothing etc you can brush goop on with a soft brush or your finger tips and let stand from a few hrs to overnight depending upon the stain and then wash as normal and it comes right out usually the first time.. I had a white sweater I loved have a pen break in the washer and it took 3-4x of applying and rewashing (do not dry between) and it ended up like new. The best thing about it is it doesn't stress the fabric as it is lanolin based..So you are going to get holes as from bleach etc. I have taken out motorcycle grease from a jean jacket you would have been sure was ruined! And of course my white sweater. Even fatty grease spots on a t-shirt that would normally ruin it come out well. Blood, grass stains all out with one or two launderings with the goop sitting on it overnight at the most. Hope this helps everyone! :) Jill

I am going to be taking a picture when I reveal everything to her sometime after all her angels arrive. She needs to know what " community" all of you wonderful people are from and I will tell her about you. I want it to be a mystery for a while though. I think it will give her a loving distraction. :0) Sonia Showalter It's Bluebonnets Y'all! Old World Nativity ----- Original Message -----
