Thank you note

Just a little thank you and your daughter for the beautiful
butterfly. It's very kind of you to share with those of us who do not know how to digitize (and in my case, have no desire to learn, as it just appears to be way over my head)! I've enjoyed your list, keep up the good work. You have a way with words which just shows how caring and thoughtful of others you are. It's nice to be just a little part of this group. Thanks to all for, well, everything. Rosie S. |

The page takes ages to try and open, then I get a page not found. I can get to the Groups page, click on files, then butterfly .zip but nothing after that. I have ADSL internet yet it appears to be really slow. Think everyone is trying to download at the same time, so maybe this is why its not working for me. I know this happens sometimes with my site when I do a posting of a free design. Within like an hr , over a 1000 people can be trying to download. I will be patient and try later tonite. |

Miems dont be down on your self. you were so graciously sharing of your time and talent and if they have no patience to stand by you at this time they were looking for some reason to do what they choose to do. they werent for your friendship and helping others they were for THEMSELVES and no one else. you know we all had to learn to crawl at one time before walking and thats how it is with these computers. i know for one i am a senior citizen and we dont catch on to things as well as we did 60 plus years ago but there has been so many nice and caring, sharing people to help us that we might have the knowledge to do somethings in this day and time that we couldnt have learned with out the help of you and others like you, pamie and carol and names that dont come to me right now. i for one couldnt get it but like i think it was carol that told me to have patience and i did and i finally got it. again i just want to say thanks to you and all for your talent and for sharing it with us that cant do things like that in our lifetime. you all are so sweet and MAY THE GRACE OF GOD BE WITH YOU ALL ....... bettye in west texas --- Venus <venusfreak@...> wrote: > Miems do not fret. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Re: Transparent layer
Venus
I opened the Paint that came with my XP and I think mine came bundled with a diffrent program. I didn't see where it had a layer option. WHen you bring the clip art into your program look for insert add empty bitmap. Sometimes that is the way it is worded. I will have to download Paint Shop and make a little picture tutorial because I know most use PSP. Last night I was working on a clip art and it was doing that to me. I added a layer and when I clicked on the layer it would jump to the clip art. I used the add empty bitmap and it worked. I think my computer was just having a bad day because my PE-D was not rendering right either. I should have restarted it. SO try that look for add empty bitmap.

I tried the Help menu but it does not really give any clear instructions. Are you familiar with this plain Paint program in XP? Could you please help me? Thanks so much Yahoo! back ups
Adrienne R. Ferrell
Yikes, I'd hate to lose everything on my computer. I had a crappy old desk top before I bought my lap top last fall. I was always afraid that thing would crash. My husband backs up my computer regularly. Ok, evidence of how paranoid I am about losing my data; we have a fire proof safe locate in another building that we put back up cd's in. We keep the last 2 back up discs, the new one and the one the time before. Sometimes there are more than 2, since my husband and I aren't good at throwing things out! LOL

The point is my paranoia might help if you back up to a cd every so often and keep it off premiss. If you ever lose your data on your computer, you may just lose a months worth rather than years. I hope no one ever experiences a fire, flood, tornados, or thiefs, having a back up someplace else makes me feel like I wont lose it all. Sincerely, Adrienne Date: Wed, 11 Jun 2003 22:02:37 -0400 |
psp7
Hello:
If anyone is interested Carin Sharon of www.heavenly-inspirations.com is currently creating short videos on how to use PSP. You can link to her yahoo group from her website to get the passwords, etc. The current concensus is not to purchase PSP8, Carin has, along with another website owner from Skeldale and it took over their entire computer and ruined alot of files, etc. They have gone back to PSP7 These short videos are fantastic and extremely helpful. We are currently learning to create paper dolls and clothing for same. Sylvia L. |
