Re: Transparent layer

Venus

I opened the Paint that came with my XP and I think mine came bundled with a diffrent program. I didn't see where it had a layer option. WHen you bring the clip art into your program look for insert add empty bitmap. Sometimes that is the way it is worded. I will have to download Paint Shop and make a little picture tutorial because I know most use PSP. Last night I was working on a clip art and it was doing that to me. I added a layer and when I clicked on the layer it would jump to the clip art. I used the add empty bitmap and it worked. I think my computer was just having a bad day because my PE-D was not rendering right either. I should have restarted it. SO try that look for add empty bitmap.

Hi, Venus
I heard a lot about the Paint Shop Pro, and I am considering buying it, but
for now I just have the plain Paint on my windows XP. I read your message
about the clipart and I tried the transparent layer on Paint, but after I
draw my design I cannot select the original design to delete it and have
only the one I drew. I tried the Help menu but it does not really give any
clear instructions. Are you familiar with this plain Paint program in XP?
Could you please help me?
Thanks so much
