that she could take note of it for her soon to be born grandchild so here it goes: Hi you all I have a little story for you today... my youngest son got is 18 months old promotion and he got a special gift.... yes lots and lots of mosquito bites... you will think there is nothing special about that...well that is true but the problem is that kis bites started swelling and swelling so much that it was horrible. one bite on his forehead swelled so much that it made a big bump that started above the center of one eye and went all the way above the center of the other eye and went a bit down on his nose and he had difficulties keeping his eyes open because of that swelling and he had others all over his body... so you understand that with the Nil virus going around I got scared and took him to the hospital... My son doesn't have any sickness just a bit of an allergic reaction but the thing was that since he is so young, the products they sell in the drugstores wouldn't work since they are all toxic if ingested so they really are not safe for babies. So I took of ( and now I am trying really hard to remember how you call that fabric in english and can't remember so I will explain) you know the fabric that we use for window that we leave close during the day because they let the light come in but peopl on the outside can,t see inside ( in french we call them '' plein jour '') well it is really light and let's the air in, so I went to Walmart and bought ready made white see through panel for 10$ each. I sewed them side by side, after that I embroidered dragonflies and such on it. When it was done all I did was drape it over my son's crib like you would a tablecloth on a table and then I went to each end of the crib and made a loose knot with both corners and voila My baby has now been bites and horrible bumps free for a week now so I thought I could share this with you and it is really easy to make and makes a really beautiful gift for a new born baby and with whatever you embroider on it, it makes it esthetically great to look at but also interesting and colourful for the baby.
