I thank you very much. I don't have any tulle in the house, so I guess this
project can wait until tomorrow. I really appreciate your advice. I do
have all the threads I need.

I use a tear away under, and tulle on top instead of a wash away. Once
the wash away washes away, the loops will begin to pop through the
design. You can find tulle in remnants alot, and I always pick up
whatever is there, in whatever color, so that I always have some to
match the towel color that I'm doing. I learned this trick (using the
tulle) from a very wise woman on another message forum and love it!
Most times when the design is finished, the tulle will tear away from
the design on top. If not, it's easy enough to clip it away from the
design. Laura
