It is very interesting to read this topic. Its sort of "funny" but I'm toward the other end of the spectrum. I have severe RA and OA and am mainly in a wheelchair. My hands are not as usable, and they frequently shake a lot. I DO sew - just not nearly as much as my dream projects require! The sewing I do is for my dear grandchildren. My dh is a "caretaker" too, but I try to make it easier for him. I know it is a lot of extra work - not just taking care of my needs, but doing the things I used to do and can't do any more. I have so much compassion and admiration for those of you who have this responsibility. Please do take time for yourself now and then. It really is necessary. I'm trying to get my dh to go on a day hike. He rarely does something just for himself. Anyway, thanks from someone who knows some of how hard it .
