I feel like I'm in the same boat as you! (I live in Calaveras Co., CA, where do you live?) New to this machine embroidery but I'm getting the hang of it. I also made blocks and blocks. Then I started really digging around on the web and found so many other things out there to do with embroidery designs. I've gotten addicted to collecting designs. Would you believe that I have 7 ZIP card full? I don't think I will live long enough to use them all!! I've gotten so many ideas from different lists. They are wonderful, even if they do go a "little crazy" sometimes. One of my favorites is the Wee Village quilt list. They are a block of the month with darling little fairy or gnome houses. I'm going to do them and work my machine embroidery collection of fairies into them. Another fun thing is a block swap. I just finished a fairy block swap. I don't participate much in the lists, just lurk, read, and learn. Maybe when I get better at this I may get brave and participate. LOL I have done a few quilts, little ones. And some great sweatshirts if I do say so myself! ggg I'm not very creative myself but with so many wonderful ideas out there I find that I'm gradually finding my own niche and enlarging on them and making them my own. So don't go away! Correll ----- Original Message -----

My husband down loads my patterns for me and I plug them into my machine. All I have done is embroidery patterns on a piece of fabric, never a garment or anything else. I think maybe I am in the wrong group, I need a Beginning Group. I feel like I spend all my time converting thread colors over to Isacorde colors. I love what I have done, but now I feel I am ready to move on. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Judy in California Yahoo!
