Venus, what a lovely idea! I always haunt the thrift stores, and do pick up clothing that's in good shape to give to the shelters, but never thought (duh!) to practice my work on those. As the 'embellished' items are so popular with the kids, it's wonderful to think that they too can have what everyone else is wearing. I knew there was a reason I've been collecting all these kids designs! Thanks so much for the idea Venus. Laura

The kids loved them and now I go to the thrift stores and pick up clothes, fix them up with embellishments and donate them to the shelters. These kids have so little and to have a pair of jeans with Mickey Mouse or pretty flowers really makes their day.
