I'm now stitching them out to give to members of my church who are
contributing to a fund to allow two high school children of a women of
our congregation who is dying, to go on a school band trip. The
parents can't afford to send them (they have no medical insurance!)
and although the trip is not mandatory, they had signed their children
up to go on it last fall. Perhaps they were hoping to be in better
financial postion by
March, but just last week we found out that the mother's cancer is
back with a vengence, and it looks like it's really serious this time
(in the bones). Anyway, I organized a plea at my church to help pay
the children's trip accounts, and I'm so pleased at the love and
support we've gotten. So your angel will go out to those wonderful
people who are helping this family.
