I have gotten blood on the dolls I make and just about everything else
involving hand sewing. I've always gotten it out by rubbing the spot
with an ice cube. I have a great fear of bleach and/or chemicals
anywhere near my sewing project. The ice always works; however, I
always do it immediately, so the blood spot is brand new; I don't know
if that makes a difference or not.

I was hooping my quilt to embroidery on it and cut my finger on a pin
and of course bled on the white square and not on the navy blue. I
am
having a major brian fart and can not remember to use on it to get it
out. Anyone please, suggestions to get this out.
