I've seen digitizing advertized for as low as $4 a thousand but I have a friend that was charging $8 a thousand last year. I don't know what she gets now.

How much do you charge for digitizing? I did a simple design for a
roofing company-rooftop with the name of the company under the roof
and a straight line floor. Roofing and Remodeling was under the floor.
It is a 5 x 7 design with 19000 stitches. I am new to this and I am
not sure if I should charge by the stitch, like embroidery, or by the
time that it took me. Any help that you can give will be greatly
appreciated.
