My daughter made me a lapquilt not long after she started quilting (it is gorgeous), and expressly informed me that should she find out it wasn't being used, she would take it back, LOL. She loves that when she sees photos (she lives quite a distance) of our house, it's always on the sofa in the background, but rarely neatly folded, as it's used often.

Since we are on this line of things that bug us... What really bugs me is when I make something for someone, and it is to be USED not to be just looked at. Like I made a Scrap quilt last year for my brother in law and his wife and son. It was onlly the size of a lap quilt for if you were in a chair or on the sofa. I told Pam to USE it and she was like "OOOHH no, it is way to pretty to be used." I dont like to see the things I made put away. I like to see them out and getting worn and dirty.... lol
