Rocky Problem

Can run the PowerSDR test wav files and both PowerSDR and SDRadio can pick the CW audio up OK. But Rocky gives an error message, "Input Device Does Not Support Selected Parameters". Is it possible to test Rocky just off of a wave file?

Hi Bill,

pick the CW audio up OK. But Rocky gives an error message, "Input
Device Does Not Support Selected Parameters".
Try a lower sampling rate, it looks like your card does not support the parameters that you selected.

I am working on wav recording and playback. The wav component that I wrote a few years ago needs an update - 24-bit cards were not available at that time ;-)

If you have two sound cards, you can connect them with a cable, play your WAV in Media Player, and receive it in Rocky.

How do I change the sampling rate? I don't know much about sound cards.

Bill,

Click on View / Settings in Rocky, then tick the 48 KHz radio button and click on OK.

Alex,

Did that, but got same error message. Rocky does show the correct sound card that I have, though.

Bill,

If you are using Rocky V.1.02 and still cannot see your soundcard in the list, please generate the WdmView log and send it to me. The log generator is at
