installing dual LF/HF Ensemble II's on desktop?

Would appreciate direction on this.? Right now, I turn off the desktop, plug in either SDR, reboot, then select the correct one in HDSDR's "init" tab, reboot and then the right one is there.? I believe they are both using the same driver, but not sure how to install to make the LF one separate from the HF.? Also, I keep having to recalibrate in HDSDR if switching out the HF unit for LF or vice versa.

Just would like to keep both connected simultaneously and then switch to one or the other for use.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Ok, finally got it!? Thanks! What was throwing me off was that in HDSDR when I brought up CFGSR and went to the "Init" tab, try to set one SDR or the other as HF or LF, it would default back to HF no matter which one was connected.? This didn't seem to matter though as ABPF has changed to the appropriate ones as well as the LO config.? By changing the serial, I now have calibration staying intact too.

One thing I did overlook though.? Although either unit can now be selected from the USB tab and started in HDSDR, one thing I overlooked was the phono cable from the unit to the sound card.? I have to physically unplug it and the plug in to whatever SDR is active.? Not sure there's any way around this other than another sound card, which I don't have.? Is it possible to split the cable from the sound card and share with both SDRs?

Jon,

As mentioned on my page the init tab does not read the Softrock.

Is it possible to split the cable from the sound card and
share with both SDRs?
Possibly not a good idea.
A second USB sound device is easy, then both can be run together.

Hello JonI,

Thursday, June 24, 2021

I believe you will have to run multiple sound cards, that's how do it.
