Folks,
I have a crude first version of a demodulator for softrock, which I
call gnurokr. Currently, it cannot do I/Q correction and other fancy
stuff. It was put together today after assembling my softrock40 kit.
It took lesser time than assembling the hardware itself and
demonstrates the speed at which one can "build" a radio with Software.
I wrote it because I wanted to learn more about GNURadio and also that
all available SDR programs were targetted at non-GNU/Linux platforms.
gnurokr cannot match the facilities provided by those right now and is
not really release worthy, but I hope as time passes by, more stuff
will be added to it.
I hope GNU/Linux users can now rejoice!
