Hi All,

Completed my SoftRock40 this afternoon. Took about 3 hours. I'm using
the external power mod (78L05 in place of 2N3904, etc.).Current drain on
a 9V battery is 29+ mA. My PC is a 1GHz Dell Optiplex GX200 with sound
on the motherboard.

Signals came through upon first powerup. I don't have an XG-1 to
perform the image null. (Will borrow one tomorrow). I was able to make
a null adjustment while listening to a fairly strong CW signal. Both
gain and phase are very close to the middle of the range for a fairly
good null. I don't expect much change when I use the XG-1 tomorrow.
