Divide by 2 Phase Shifter
In August 1973 Ham Radio, WA0JYK used a digital phase shifter in a 75m SSB phasing type receiver that only required the clock to only be divided by 2 instead of 4. The chips were ECL D type Flip

Re: Replacement for OPA2228UA
The 74hc74 is made to divide by two by connecting it's /Q output to the data pin. in turn the Q output becomes the clock for the next stage. This has the inherent problem that the second counter

Re: Replacement for OPA2228UA
Hi Oliver,
Did some more digging in the archives here. I found a message from KD5NWA <kd5nwa@...>, who suggested the timing could be improved with the use of a 74AC109 JK flip flop because it's

Re: SharpDSP Mini Console for the SoftRock 40 now available...
Hi Frank,
Yes, thats a good idea to keep things under control resource wise. I
probably should allow the user to pick either a text based meter or an
analog one (if I add it).

Re: IQ recordings from softrock40?
Thanks Bill and Cecil.
I will hopefully have a simple gnuradio program to use with
softrock40. I have got the ssb_demod running. Have to figure out afew

Re: IQ recordings from softrock40?
I've got some IQ files from and SDR 1000 demo CD put out at Dayton - they are on: http://tracey.org/wjt/sdr1k/iq/
Pretty large files (17 meg is the smallest, 251 meg the largest).

Re: IQ recordings from softrock40?
I'll put up some more later, some are huge, the 80 meter one is 180 Megs, I have some of a 40 meter contest that I will put up later, it's wall to wall signals.

SR-40 on 80m
I'm building a very simple DSB Tx using an SA602 with a 3.6864 Mz crystal. 4 x 3.6864 = 14.7456 and crystals on that frequency aren't all that hard to find (both frequencies are used for UART

IQ recordings from softrock40?
Hi Cecil,
I am working on a simple commandline demodulator for softrock40 using
gnuradio. I haven't yet assembled my kit yet. Do you have a recording
of the I and Q samples from the soundcard input,
