groups.io is what Yahoogroups used to be before Yahoo stuffed it up.
Former Yahoo developers started it. All you'd have to do is use send
messages to a different address.

I am sorry that this comes at this time, but I have tried to avoid becoming involved with too many social networks because they can take up a lot of time.

I believe that the photo’s are automatically reduced by the groups.io transfer program.

Or at least that is what has been said on other groups that made the transfer.

This is a quote from another group who were looking to transfer.

One problem with a potential transfer is the size of the photos section on the main yahoops group exceeds the new combined? limit of 1 GB for files and photos on groups.io.? If a move is to be made the admin department would have to try and split the photos into several groups or go through and resize all of the photos to get the size down.? Currently there are about 93MB of files.

Now a problem with trying to manipulate the photos is that currently yahoops is having one of its moods and we can't access the photos to move or download them.? The only thing we can do is look at them. (All the more reason to deeps six yahoops)

It would be/is possible to transfer the group without the photos and then lock this group down so no further posting is allowed so it could serve as an archive for the photos.

Darryl:? Did the group itself move to .io?? If so, how is it listed there.? I did a search for small layout, layout, SLD, Design and came up empty.

if possible do make the move, several of my groups have done it withouth any problemes
and Yahoo seem? to have more problems every week.

Sounds like that problem is solved - but keeping the originals for a while would be prudent.

Would transferring the group without photos,locking it down and then slowly transferring the files as time and Yahoops allow be an option...into multiple groups like we have here at Yahoo?

The Nn3 Yahoo Group recently moved to and it was seamless, and the new site is much more user friendly, especially the photo upload function.

Several of my groups have migrated to groups.io and all appear to be working fine.? Their privacy policy seems to be a lot better.

My personal favorite way of determining my trains is photos of my cars. I just used my camera, stuck paper under and behind each car, put them in the sunlight from a window, and took their pictures. I printed two-up on 4x6 photo paper on my inkjet. I just shuffle and draw cards, and make the train in the same order.

The photo is ancient. My daughter was quite young in the photo there. She's almost 14 now--and she still likes to do the Inglenook with me. :-)

I've just found it again.
Go to :-
Go to the bottom of the page. Beside the screen shot of the program click on the "" buried in the text. It will automatically download to your computer. It runs from the file so you not actually install it.Definitely read the instructions first.
