I believe that the photo¡¯s are automatically reduced by the groups.io transfer program. Or at least that is what has been said on other groups that made the transfer. It's the only way I can see that my own transfers ended up with only 35% space used when we had several thousand high resolution images. One problem with a potential transfer is the size of the photos section on the main yahoops group exceeds the new combined? limit of 1 GB for files and photos on groups.io.? If a move is to be made the admin department would have to try and split the photos into several groups or go through and resize all of the photos to get the size down.? Currently there are about 93MB of files. Now a problem with trying to manipulate the photos is that currently yahoops is having one of its moods and we can't access the photos to move or download them.? The only thing we can do is look at them. (All the more reason to deeps six yahoops) It would be/is possible to transfer the group without the photos and then lock this group down so no further posting is allowed so it could serve as an archive for the photos.
