well, digging deeper--I searched for preserved asparagus ferns, and I'm not sure all of them are specifically asparagus fern.

there do seem to be some places online that specialize in preserved/dried floral stuff, here's one:

btw, not sure if it was asparagus specifically, but I did make some N scale conifers this way once.? they were very nice.? eventually I settled on building a traction layout, so I haven't needed to make so many trees!? but it was kind of relaxing.
