Food for thought or discussion:?? If you are going to build the Ness Street plan with ready laid track think about replacing that long crossing with a double slip switch.??
I have future plans for a similar shelf layout in HOn30 (No slip switches there) where the entire plan represents a small seaport complex built as a man made landfill above a low peninsula on a rocky coast with durable vertical sea walls extending for about half the thickness of the " benchwork" structure on each side.? The remaining depth or the structure of the shelf will be a smooth joint for additional modules to butt up against.? In my case the modules on three sides will be nothing but a "water surface" flat enough to position temporary wharfs and/or attached backdrops, structures or watercraft on.? But they could be any scenery or layout extension subject that fits your plans.? Ed W
