You don¡¯t have to ¡°do¡± anything if the group is migrated to Groups.io After the moderator moves the group, you would obtain a notification/invitation to the group. Your user name and password would not change. Files and folders would move automatically as well.
Another group I am a member of made the move and it was seamless. The new group site is much easier to use. The group did opt for a ¡° premium¡± membership with greater storage which involved a very nominal charge, which is being underwritten by one of the group
members, so none of the other 900 members pays anything.
