Archie, that's not strictly true. You can shunt the pair of 3 wagon sidings with more because you add the length of the first point to the head shunt. With British 4 wheelers you can fit in another three wagons without fouling the point blades. Hence the reason for my query. I've never seen a ruling anywhere on this.
