well the service was wonderful. My son Billy did not come because he is Billy. My daughter spoke, Franks friend of many years and his aide Tressa. Tressa is a Black woman she got up and preached!!! My church has been there for me as well as my many friends thank you all for the loving support you have given our family over the many years. My next journey will be a new venture! sharon

My sister Lola and cousin will be here by 3 we are all staying in a hotel together. Son Don will be here by4. he is staying with us at the hotel/ the service is at 2.30 we are having a flag ceremony since it will be vet day. then we will go to grandsons house for a dinner . Franks ashes will be delivered this morning. thants going to be hard. My friends and church have been so good to me. God bless you all Now go give your husband or wife a big hug! i sure do miss frank! went to publix yesterday for the first time since oct 22. lots of memories of shopping for 2!. im having a lot of difficulty adjusting to not taking care of him. sharon

My Frank is finally well again. He passed away this morning. I woke up at 3 am and went over to check on him and he was cold! He had been bleeding in his urin. Just was not expecting him to leave me. It has been a long journey. But he is with Jesus. I hope he is holding his baby boy now. He always said that was what he wanted to do. Sharon

I just received a message from Bill Brandt that Tandy passed away on Friday about 1:30 pm in Tyler. She had been battling Alzheimer’s for the last 10+ years. She was still functional until the last 5 years. He mentioned that the 50th reunion was a highlight for her reconnecting with friends. When I receive a notice of services or an address to send cards, I will let you know.

Aaahhh, the summer of '65. Sonny and Cher were singing 'I Got You Babe ', and many of us had summer jobs to work during the days to spend money running the streets at night. I remember one afternoon, long about mid July and Buddy Anthony, Kenneth Wright and Dwane Swindle and myself were going over to check on Danny Hoffman. Someone had toilet papered his front yard and it was a mess. Anyway he was out in the front yard working on spray tinting his car windows. He had a factory '64 dodge hot rod, and there was this new window tint that you sprayed on and once dryed, it was dark..way dark. I remember seeing him driving down the drag at night and you couldn't see who was driving. Those were some crazy days. That was the summer my dad kicked me out of the house. My grandmother took pity on me and let me live with her. My plan was to live in my car. I had a '57 Oldsmobile and it was pretty big. After a month with grandmother, she kicked me out.

For those of you that might be interested, Barbara and I have bought a house and moved back to San Angelo. The interesting part was who we bought it from. His name is Kevin Springer and when I finally got to talk to him face to face I found out he was Jack Springer’s little brother. Sadly he told me Jack died in 2019. Said he was driving down the highway and had a massive heart attack. RIP old friend. Tim

I wrapped it and lost it. well found it this weekend> I have been looking for it every where. called my sister to tell her i found it!! it is going out in the mail asap! Lola told me she was cleaning out her late husbands work room and found a present to her from her husband and a card. Max always hid her presents . funny what you find when cleaning out. sharon
