Interesting Phone Call
I had a very interesting phone call from Carol Stone-Herreman last evening and we visited for awhile. It sure was good to talk to her and she wanted to know about how all of you are doing. I hated to but I told her that there is not a lot of "traffic" on here and it has been a good while since there was anything posted on the FB site. She did sound good and we had a lot of laughs as we talked. Of course, some of those laughs were generated by stories about some of y'all. Maybe some of y'all can give her a call as well. John T. Hungry Little Visitor
This morning when I let the dog out into the back yard, I saw that we had hungry little visitor chomping away on the corn log. I was standing about eight feet away from him and he was not too concerned with me being there or the dog walking around in the yard. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Re: Sharon Carter Cenky (Good News)
Just spoke with Sharon's daughter, Sharon Lee Messing, and she said that Sharon is doing pretty good and will be released from the hospital this evening. Sharon Lee is going to pick her up and she will be staying with Sharon Lee for awhile. Also, a new phone number for Sharon is 678-755-4288, and Sharon Lee said that Sharon would probably enjoy hearing from some of her classmates. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Re: Good News In My Part Of The Country
We wound up with just a bit under ?" total. Luckily, it was a very slow soaking rain with minimal run off. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Good News In My Part Of The Country
Finally, we are enjoying some rain. From last evening and throughout today, we have had a slow, steady rain, the kind that soaks in and really does some good. Rain gauge on my back fence shows just a shade over half an inch and we have about two more days showing rain in the forecast. Thank you, Lord, for this much needed moisture! John T. No body home?
Since Spring has sprung, I guess everyone has headed out on some adventure or another. Personally, I'm just working my way through getting all the danged leaves picked up or mowed over and then bagged. With all the high winds we have been having lately, I think I am picking up a lot of my neighbor's leaves as well as. On a good note, I have noticed that the mesquite trees around here are leafing out so no more cold winter days. Now, for some of those April showers... Anyway, hopefully everyone is doing well or at least the best they can. I thought I had lost another two pounds the other morning but then, I raised up my tee shirt and there they were, hiding in plain sight. Let's hear from everyone... John T. New Store Coming
I saw in the latest Murdoch's flyer that San Angelo will be getting a store in the near future. I enjoy browsing through the one up the road a piece. I can always find some of those things I really don't need but would like to have, you know, just in case. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
