A Towel Thief Visited Our House
No, it wasn't one of the grandkids stocking up their dormitory room with towels. Sandy usually keeps a towel out on the chair on the back porch to wipe down the dog when she goes out and the grass is wet. The towel was on the chair until this towel thief came along and tried to abscond with it. Since squirrels usually have two litters a year, I imagine this one is looking to build a nest and thought the towel would come in right handy. As you can see in the third photo, the towel made it all the way up the tree to a limb about ten feet off the ground. I did thwart the little thief's efforts by retrieving the towel from the tree limb. If you look close at the third photo, you can see the squirrel flat out on the limb by the towel. Yes, from now on, we will be keeping the towels inside. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God. Re: Have A Great Week
开云体育What a gift of looking at the full moon and remembering The ‘64 crew and others from SACHS and events since then…..especially since 2004 and following. ?The reunions and all celebrations with former classmates has brought much life to our years. Take good care of yourselves and make plans to be in San Angelo for Reunion 60 in mid October.? On Jun 23, 2024, at 6:57?PM, Mary Couch via groups.io <muskogeetraveler@...> wrote:

Have A Great Week
Just wanted to wish all of you to have a great week. I looked at my calendar and there are a lot of open spaces but, the other day when I was doing nothing, I ran out of time so I still have a lot of that to catch up on. You know how it is, just because I'm doing nothing, it doesn't mean I want to do something. Seems as how I usually wind up doing something I had not really planned on doing so I don't get to use up all my doing nothing time. Anyway, hope all of you have a great week. (And, let's hear from you if you are doing nothing or something.) John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God. Great Trip
Had a great trip to San Angelo last weekend and really enjoyed the Family Summer Gathering out in Water Valley. Visiting with family is always great and when you come from a family of really great cooks, well, you can't help but sample "just a little bit" of everything offered. Even got to experience a short downpour on Sunday morning while I was trying to get the truck loaded. All in all, a great weekend. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Heading to San Angelo
Tomorrow morning I will be heading to San Angelo so I can attend our Summer Gatherin' on Saturday out in Water Valley. Just a heads up, I will be eating supper at Dunbar at about 6:00 PM, so if anyone wants to visit a bit, you know where to find me. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. from Suzi's list I received at the meeting but I think we could split the list by pages among those who want to do this (Donna?). I need to know what information to send out on the email. I know the date and location. Include pricing??

开云体育Good advice to not fall. I work on that goal all the time. Not always successful! ?Got the hose wrapped around my legs while I was winding it up. Yikes that was a close call. Mickey, I hope the meeting went well and lots of decisions made. Hopefully you can give us a recap of the meeting as I know all of us are looking forward to the reunion. John T. Re: Reunion 60 Meeting
I'm floating around alone in an open boat in heavy swells at midnight without a sail or motor or rudder in the cold rain and the wind. Faintly I see a lighthouse in the far distance. Is that y'all? Are there warmth and light and antibiotics there?

Wow, Mickey! I'm sorry Mine and Jim are going through this health crisis but I'm happy she is on the mend. Prayers for both of them. I will try to come for the reunion meeting...weather is a factor, and my daughter's birthday on June 7 will force me to get back on the road home afterward. We have had so much rain and bad weather that I am reluctant to make travel plans. By the way, Ron Perry has a birthday on Friday after meeting. I always remember his bc that is my daughter's birthday, too.
