Tandy Scott Brandt
I just received a message from Bill Brandt that Tandy passed away on Friday about 1:30 pm in Tyler. She had been battling Alzheimer’s for the last 10+ years. She was still functional until the last 5 years.
He mentioned that the 50th reunion was a highlight for her reconnecting with friends. When I receive a notice of services or an address to send cards, I will let you know. |
Re: 1965
开云体育I also lived with my grandmother for a part of that same summer, but it was not for the same reason.? I was going to summer school in Austin, where she lived.? She hoped I would watch her favorite soap opera with her, but I just couldn’t do it.? I did things she didn’t approve of, like drinking beer, and I am sure she thought I was going to hell in a hand basket.? Although she did not throw me out, she offered to pay for me to stay somewhere else.? I elected to stay with her, but it was hard on her to put up with my “attitude”.? She was from such a different time!? I hate that your grandmother kicked you out.? ? Sent from for Windows ? From: John Fore

Re: sharon
Sharon, I am glad you found the gift to your sister. I hope she enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. By the way, book #2 is finished but can't seem to find an interested agent to get it published. Book #3 is about a third of the way written. You know how it goes, a little here and a little there and all of a sudden, it is done. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.
