Re: Survived another Labor Day

开云体育

Quiet Labor Day here.? Son and daughter-in-law stopped by to visit; they returned my 2 hanging plants they had been plant sitting while we were away 4 days last week. We had a nice stay from Wed to Sat last week at Starved Rock Lodge and State Park in Illinois on a bus trip; met some nice people!

We are enjoying a few days of cooler weather and some rain, also; temp when I got up was 57 degrees; 61 now at 11 AM. In a few days we'll be back up into the 80's. I'm sure that sounds like a cool spell to a lot of you!

Take care, All!

Personally, I didn't do anything special for Labor Day, just stayed home and enjoyed that. Got a few little things done that needed doing and then sat down to read for awhile.
With the weather changes, we did get some much needed rain, so I celebrate that. The gauges show we got almost 1 3/4" of good rain, the soaking kind. Certainly not as much as some of you may have gotten but we are grateful just the same.
So now, take a few minutes and tell us what you did or didn't do for Labor Day and this past week.
