Old Grumpy and I were scheduled to help with highway trash pick for the Lions Club this morning but it has been cancelled.? Good thinking on the leadership's part!!!!
Our next project for today is attending the DAV meeting at the VFW hall on Browning Street.? Then it's off to the rodeo at 1 P.M.
Should I take her to the carnival and win another big stuffed dog for her??? Naw!!! One in a lifetime?is enough for her.? We were dating at SAC when I won one for her at the rodeo and she still has it (up in the attic).
On the campaign front, I met with a couple of political managers?and found out right quick those signs and mail outs are EXPENSIVE!? Looks like I will be buying a pair of walking shoes and going door to door asking for votes.?
I told my treasurer I need to buy some printer paper and her (Vivian) answer was "get the cheap kind".? Ha Ha I should have known.
