DMR linking software

Hello Everyone,
?
I'm looking to see if there is software similar to the C-bridge softwares that will allow other DMR repeaters that are not Motorola brand to talk to each other in a network other than using Brandmeister.? Looking to run my own DMR server.? It's my understanding C-bridge only talk to Motorola equipment?
?
I've come to realize all of the radio manufacturers in the commercial space don't want there systems to be able to talk to there competitors equipment via a common protocol.?
?
Thank you

Have you considered Allstar Link?

Steve,
Good luck with that... every vendor "speaks" it's own language on the network.? The easiest solution for you is to use mmdvm MODEMs on your repeaters and run hblink or hblink3 server to network your repeaters.? Having equipment "speak" to mmdvmhost as the common "language" works well.? There may be other methods but each one may have to be experimented with to make work.? You did not mention if you had one vendor or multiple vendor DMR repeaters you wish to connect but each vendor may have their own proprietary networking scheme but mmdvm will work on all of them... plus you can make DMR repeaters from analog repeaters/radios with some minor modification.

Good Luck in your quest!

I second Jon's recommendation of looking at MMDVM (dvswitch, and related project) to link your repeaters and gateway to other networks of devices.

Get your own reflector on the TGIF network which takes minutes and use MMDVM running PiStar software for the repeater/hotspots. Very simple and reliable!

Hi Everyone,
?
First, I wanted to thank everyone for there suggestions.????
?
I do want to stick with doing TG (Talk Groups) as this how DMR was setup to operator plus the current radios made by the manufactures operate this way.
?
I did look at All-star published documentation and they are limiting the amount of node ID's they are giving out so that rules that system out and after digging further seems to be a better solution for your Analog to Analog repeater to connect to each other and is friendly to adding it as a option to your current repeater controller or using it as its own stand alone repeater controller.
?
The HBlink and HBlink3 seems to be a collection of projects that makes it work with DMR seems like using the MMDVM modems.???? If anyone has more information about the MMDVM devices and how they work and more information then what is on the HBlink GIThub page I would be interested in exploring that option further.
?
I did have people reach out to me about C-Bridge and it seems there are way to get most of the repeater brands to connect to it using the C-Bridge system.? The only one is Hyteria which will need a MMDVM device in front to make it work with a C-Bridge is how it was explained to me. ? I am in a setup where I'm using Hyteria, Kenwood and Motorola repeaters to answer a question about what systems am I using.
?
Thanks again for all of the knowledge sharing and suggestions this far.
