Re: CM300 radio settings
To close the loop on this, I e-mailed Riley privately and he had a bum Raspberry Pi board.

Do these cans look normal inside?
These cans have a ticket they left Sinclair in 2015. Supposedly new old stock.
Do they look normal inside for the age? Looks like condensation was a thing inside there at some point for the

For Sale: Kenwood TKR-850-1 v.1 UHF repeater.
Selling the last Kenwood TKR-850-1 UHF repeater I have in the system. We are going to simulcasting so all repeaters needed a 10MHz reference input for the time base stability required to simulcast. As

Re: 2175 Hz Voting tone encoder Board
For Motorola voters there needs to be 15 milliseconds (from my recollection) of silence right after the 2175 HZ tone drops (COR detected). If you don't have that period of silence, the voter AGC will

Re: 2175 Hz Voting tone encoder Board
I¡¯ve used the Raytheon / JPS tone encoders on the SNV-12 systems. I¡¯m not sure how they will behave on the /\/\ system due to the on/off timing being different. That¡¯s the main problem with Moto

Re: 2175 Hz Voting tone encoder Board
JPS has their Pilot Tone Generator module, PTG-10.
Midian Electronics has their VTE-1, Voting Tone Generator.
I've dealt with the JPS unit, very nice, easy to interface, works long time.

Re: 2175 Hz Voting tone encoder Board
You almost have it right.
The SS-32 encoder could be ordered for audible tones. It used the "newer" programmable chip and had a 1 MHz crystal allowing it to generate the audible tones. The

Be careful with aftermarket tone encoders.
The Spectra Tac relies heavily on timing, that some aftermarket encoders may not do properly.
Lots of great information here:
