Re: Alinco SR4-D FS
Definitely an interesting device. Would be helpful if schematic service manuals were on line.? It got to be a bidding war so I backed out when it looked like it might well exceed the price of a new

With all this talk about mods to old GE and Motorola Voters, it would be simpler to buy last generation JPS SNV-12 voters as they surplus out. -- The Real RFI-EMI-GUY

Re: Voter Systems
Does your version resolve the simulcast clock timing issues of the current RTCM? If so that is a plus. Also makes it suitable for commercial applications.

Mods are still required to use a GE voter without status tone if you want to do it right. For starters, you'll want to get rid of the 1950 notch filters on the receiver cards and the audio module to

Re: Two UHF repeaters sharing the same antenna.
The Motorola sites engineer came up with the solution using only a BP duplexer on each repeater along with a dual stage isolator. A 3rd duplexer was not needed. Jim W7RY -- Thanks and 73, Jim W7RY

Nearly all of the VHF Sensicon "A" Receivers I ran across back in the 1970's were the ones that had five pipes in the front end. We did have one Receiver in a base station at our college that had six

This is a newly designed product? Could've fooled me, as I don't see a single surface mount component. Even when hand soldering I consider surface mount easier to work with than thru-hole. Bob NO6B

The is a diagram using motorola T1500 duplexers for this exact case, and you can try searching for it. Basically it takes 3 sets of 1500's each repeater has a duplexer that is then fed into a third
