Re: MSF TX VCO issue
Hi Tom, Most certainly, they should be replaced. Everything electrolytic in the station should be replaced, IMHO. SSCB/SCB, uniboard, injection amplifier, ICB, IPA/ regulator. Cheers, Sam KJ6QFS

Re: Kendecom KRP-5000 Doc
If you scan pieces of the Kendecom documentation and upload them as files to the group's FILES section, they can be moved to the repeater-builder Kendecom area for all to benefit.

Re: CDM1250 home-brew repeater Audio settings?
Thanks Mick, I had a pair of Maxtracs with an Id-O- Matic4. Worked very well. I later replaced the controller with a Pi3. Frank N6CES (TARRA) <tarra@...> wrote:

Re: CDM1250 home-brew repeater Audio settings?
Yes, the M1225 setup would be similar. I have a pair of them next to my desk for a test repeater. I also have a VHF/UHF set up for a portable cross-band repeater. It uses a pair of ID-O-Matic ID'ers .

Hello Aron, This can be very controversial and I am not familiar with the CDM1250, but let's assume it is the same as say the Vertex Standard VX5500/ VX6000 radios which we joined together for a

Yes Preemphasis/deemphasis should be done in the radios (i.e. Rx audio should be "filtered" which includes deemphasis, Tx audio should be preemphasized, or "mic" audio). The RICK should be set for

Do you have "Disable repeat path" enabled? It needs to be enabled for it to operate as a duplex base rather than repeater. If you are able to select "External PTT" under audio priority, that tells me
