Motorola MTR-2000 pre-emphasized / demphasized settings

Hi all,
I would like to know if the RX and TX audio on the MTR2K Wireline connector is pre-emphasized or de-emphasized according to the configuration of the "Audio" section of the "Channel information" or if it is always de-emphasized / pre-emphasized or always flat.

Considering that our MTR2K will not operate the remote control via Wireline, I would like to know if, after configuring "Remote control type" to "NONE" in the wireline settings, there is any importance of the parameters "Tx notch filter", "Rx notch filter" and HLGT/LLGT frequencies on the audio.

Thank you very much for your help

Re: Anyone here familiar with a Zetron model 42 controller?

Also, the last 10 pages of the Model 25 Technical Manual describe that unit's serial port pinout and signals. It might be similar to what the Model 42 has. At least it's a starting point.

Re: Anyone here familiar with a Zetron model 42 controller?

This page:

has some info about a serial port that's close to but slightly different than what was posted above. Maybe it'll work better.

Mine are next to my BFH, just in-case I shed? a tear or two for the piece of equipment, electronic or otherwise, that I pounded the bejeezus out of to make it work, and it didn't.?

Randy's Rules #1, If it still doesn't work after hours of repair, Hit the thing with a Hammer, if it still doesn't work after that, see Rule #2.

Randy's Rules #2, If it still doesn't work after all that, wack it with? a? bigger hammer, then It's either fixed or F**ked.

(These rules worked very well on CHEAP C.B. Radios and some types of consumer electronics)
