The band pass is tuned by the shaft. The capacitor tunes the notch only..
I use a spectrum analyzer and service monitor to tune my Wacoms, DBs, TXRX,
etc..Kit Parsons at Wacom suggested a signal

Excuse me?? To talk to the MTR takes a RJ45 cable to DB9 adapter.. I wired
one up myself in 5 minutes that works. I've never had a problem with Blue
Max 49 as far as his cables are concerned.

Part number of cable?? ? RS-232(DB-9 or DB-25 on PC?) to radio adapter (native RS-232 port on PC) or using a USB-to-radio adapter cable?

I bought 2 for a HT1250 and a XTS3000. Both work great on Win 7 32 bit. Make sure you install the FTDI driver.

old radio software will not work on Windows 10 and definitely will not

band and it is all amateur
radio based.

I have encountered some of these older Windows RSS will only function properly on 32 bit iron (CPU), and not 32 bit Windows (or in a 32 bit VM) that is installed on 64 bit architecture.
