Sorry I missed you at Dayton, had a great time also. Fred Vobbe and I talked at length
about you not being there at the booth. Well maybe next year or sometime in between. I
hear the Atlanta fest is a good one?? Also had a great discussion with John, KA3LAO
about the Link controllers at the company booth. John, I look forward to continuing the
talk later. Remember to send the file to me.
I will be leaving in the morning for Las Vegas and then on to California and up the
coast to Washington. I will be gone for about two weeks. May stop in Dallas area
(Plano) to visit with an old buddy from the work days. I will let you know but it will
probably be on or after June 01. Present plans are to fly from Seattle to Cleveland on
June 01 but they are flexible so may change via DFW for a 1 or 2 day stop.
I will be checking out repeaters in Las Vegas, Victorville California, Corvallis Oregon,
Tacoma Washington, and points in between. You all have been forewarned! I am on the
way!

Thursday. I should be at the home of Ralph Garono, KA8ZGM in Corvallis Or. on about
05/23 or 24. E-mail at rgarono@... . I will be at
ddevlin@... in Tacoma Wa. from about 05/26/99 until 05/31/99 after that I
do not know. Depends on what my boss (wife) has to say. Regular mail will be diverted
and stored to give me something to do when I return home. Ha Ha!
I am not taking a lap-top but will have dual band HT and mag mount antenna for the
rental vehicle after arrival in Vegas.
I will be checking in at home with number 2 daughter from time to time. Will post the
Dayton pictures to the site after I return home.
