Hello All.
I am having issues programming a VHF DeskTrac Repeater and wanted some insights
I've built close to 8 Different Cables all listed as "DeskTrac"or"MaxTrac" and I have not been able to get it to program
I am using a RIB Box and switching the Blue 1, 2, and 3 switch on the DeskTrac
the PC is running Windows XP With DosBox with the serial port Forwarded to Serial 1 (an actual Serial Port on the Laptop)
sometimes the Data light will blink then start rapidly blinking but after like 1/2 a Second it just sits there with nothing and blinks every 1/2 - 1/4 of a second then the software goes Cannot read Data
