开云体育Unlike the CATV world, where splitters are common and a splitter can have a variety of different drop/tap levels, splitters are not as frequently used, and when they are, the are usually referred to as power dividers. The goal being, equal division of power to two or more antennas. Additionally, “splitting” requires attention to impedance. ? If you find what appears to be a “4 port splitter” at a ham fest, it probably isn’t. Generally these are a hybrid, used to combine amplifiers or perform a 90 degree phase shift (for circular polarization.) Similarly, at a recent fest I found a single load isolator (3 port) with no labeling that was tagged “splitter” by the seller.
