One of the local repeaters I maintain in N GA developed an issue over the weekend.? Stopped receiving and was throwing an E49 error code, which cleared in a few seconds to be replaced with the normal 11 channel indicator.
?
The RX lock light is out, so I'm assuming the VCO might be defective, given the error code.
?
My problem is, I have no spare UHF VCOs.
?
Might anyone have a spare RX VFO for an MSF5000, or if anyone has successfully repaired a failed one, I'd like to hear about what steps you took
