I would avoid 118.2, 179.9 and 241.8.
They are close to 60Hz harmonics.
I had a repeater on 118.2 and it would false everytime the A/C or Heat kicked on.
Changed to 88
5 and the problem was solved.

I can think of:
- Try to pick the same tone frequency as others in your area are using.
- Don’t pick one too high – a guy near me has 254 Hz on his EchoLInk node and it sure isn’t “sub-audible” LOL
