This looks very interesting as a quick troubleshooting tool...

Subject: [RVHFG] Tiny SA Ultra Released
Hi Folks,
have been lucky enough to work with the Tiny SA Ultra Test team for much of this year.
I was able to use two Ultra units, one as a spectrum analyzer and the second as a generator. In addition I could measure the output USING an HP Spectrum Analyzer.
Regarding the frequency range:
¡°The maximum input frequency in ultra mode is limited to 12GHz but the usable maximum frequency is about 6GHz. The sensitivity reduces with increasing frequencies and is about 10dB lower above 2.5GHz and 25dB lower above 5.3GHz. The input correction table corrects for these reductions in sensitivity till 6GHz. Above 6GHz there is no frequency dependent correction and sensitivity drops quickly.¡°
The generator mode is significantly improved with output to 5.4GHz with a level 0f -19dBm.
The Ultra has a 20dB LNA which can be switched in when needed for low signal inputs.
The device has a real time clock with date, which is very handy when saving screenshots to the microSD card. (Just click the SD card icon on the screen.)
This device stands out above the competition at anywhere near the price range.
I highly recommend this as an addition to your shack!
