I am looking for some help with antenna questions for my GE MASTRII/RANGR
Repeater
What is the consensus on 4 bay dipole arrays for repeater antennas ? I
have looked into the coverage maps with both the 4 bay dipole array and an
Omni stick. The closest repeater on the same pair is 50 miles away. The
idea of going to the array was to place a null in the direction of the
other system. According to my coverage maps it cleans up and expands my
coverage going to the Omni.
Now for the second part of the question. The 4 bay array antenna have a
phased harness can I put three of them at the same level and the fourth
antenna as a reinforcement in the direction I want ??
Currently the 4 antennas on the array are on the western leg pointing North
and South my coverage is for no better word Terrible
7 miles away to the east I get an S4 , to the west 20 miles an S9
