We had a problem with the pins on the interface we chose to use on a GR-1225.? If the radios you are using have the 16 or 20 pin external connector we chose the wrong pin to route the input or the output (I don't remember which) to use.? We turned the equalization off and it kinda worked, but we had mushy audio and the D-Star data did not propagate to the radio from a net connection.? Turned out there is another pin you can use and it worked like a charm.?
Take a look at the Motorola cables on eBay that one fellow is marketing.? He has it figured out and has one cable for audio interface and another for digital.? When we switched to the pins on the digital cable he sells, we had great audio and data transfer.
