Scale models

A variation on a theme - WWII Wehrmacht tans\ks on flatcaars and drasine models on their own RR undercarriage.

Then some more modern (US Rangers patrolling VietNamese waters.

I have to comment that Ian Simpson has fine hand in modelling.

That bike must be a hard ride not having springs but then it's better than walking.

Atlantic Wall Bunker

The closest this comes to? Railway guns is the photo of the train racks coming out of the bunker. There are many pictures of the bunker's inside rooms. The same narrative is posted for each picture. There are links to other parts of Germany's WWII wartime operations/

?

S75 is the ammunition depot of the Bunker and

The S80 is the for machine room and room for crew.

There is no ready to run Ammo wagons but the kit from NIU models ?Is highly recommended. There is a wooden kit available on ebay (new) but although the body works out reasonably the bogies are a bin job.

I have a model of it in OO scale (1/76), the rails are the same as the HO scale.? Unfortunately, as is also the case of the K5 German railway cannon, no one makes the ammo wagon...? You can see it on the rear of the Boche Buster in foto 1 and? 2.??

Also Rivarossi/Hornby? continue to release the K5 in different camouflaging without the diesel Generator engine on the rear.??

leaving the hobby

Denis Meredith

Hi All,

We are moving to a condo and downsizing. I am losing my train space and workshop and regretfully must give up some of my hobbies - Railroad Modelling being one of them.?

As you can see by the address list, I have had a number of areas of interest.

I am hoping to donate my collection to a nearby club or group that can benefit from it. Should such an organization accept this donation, they may make use of it as they see fit - keep it all, distribute to the members, sell it on line or at a flea market, whatever makes the most sense for the organization. The same applies if an individual accepts it.

In addition to the rolling stock identified in the attached list, there is a similar volume of rolling stock as well as construction materials, detail parts, decals, tools, display shelves, and more. There is also a number of books related to my areas of interest.

I am located in Churchville, Harford County, Maryland. If you are interested and can pick up the material, please send an e-mail to me at the above address or the one in my signature block.

Regards,?

Denis Meredith

The resources involved in designing, making and moving that thing never fail to amaze me. There must have been cheaper solutions to taking Sebastopol !
