Re: Io-A May 1, 2025 Dark Sky Observatory
Hi Peter, Congratulations on getting your dual dipole up and running.? Jupiter-Io emissions should always look brighter than the background, never darker.? So, I don't think what you detected is

Re: Io-A May 1, 2025 Dark Sky Observatory
Hello Everyone, A little help please. Still a newbie. My system is working, I have been getting solar flares, but still trying to get some good Jupiter readings. I monitored Io-A today and looking

Re: Solar and Jupiter ??
That is reassuring, Larry. Fascinating how the brain processes visual information. My guess is that the brain is looking for a boundary and keeps failing to predict where it is. JS

Re: Solar and Jupiter ??
*Congratulations* Duane. A little off subject, but when I stare at the big solar burst, I get an optical illusion where it looks like the light area is continually shrinking. Does anyone else see that

Great spectrograms as always, Richard. Just imagine what you could to with an 8-element array. ;) -- Dave

Thanks to Tom for the head's up.? We picked up some Jupiter-Io emissions today, right on the border between Io-A and non-Io-A.? I think it would have been a nice display if viewed through the
