¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI got mostly noise today and did not
catch the solar events. That is why it is so important to have
volunteers in as many places as possible and hope that somebody
catches the events.

Carl,
?
if you compare earlier of your spectrograms with today's, you can see that the noise level is increasing. Isn't it possible to rent a property for your antenna?with an electrical connection provided on the outskirts of the city?

Neither in the morning nor in the evening was much airglow visible in the ionosphere. In the evening?before sunset, atmospheric discharges were clearly visible in the antenna's passband between 19.5 MHz and 22.5 MHz.
These were possibly local blue-sky discharges. The nearest thunderstorms at that time were over Sardinia in the Mediterranean (1300 km away), over Tunisia in North Africa (1600 km away), and Krasnodar on the Black Sea (2400 km away). These distances are normal in the VLF range, but appear to be quite unusual here on shortwave.
