Re: Io-A May 1, 2025 Dark Sky Observatory

Hello Everyone,
A little help please.? Still a newbie.? My system is working, I have been getting solar flares, but still trying to get some?good Jupiter readings.? I monitored Io-A today and looking over what Richard found the best I?have is this match with his 21:09 readings (see attached).? Mine are dark spikes however.? Thoughts?? And if it's not - what am I missing?? Also attached a reading at 20:22:14 which is different, but haven't encountered this before.

Setup is a 10 foot dual dipole.? No phasing.? Graph is attached
Appreciate it. Thanks-
Peter

Re: Solar and Jupiter ??

That is reassuring, Larry.? Fascinating how the brain processes visual information.? My guess is that the brain is looking for a boundary and keeps failing to predict where it is.

Leonardo,
You can download the suggested Radio. JOVE antenna construction manual at the ?link below. We sell a kit of parts. Or you can buy the materials?at your location.?

I suggest you study the Radio JOVE web site at this link.?

Feel free to ask any questions here.?

Great spectrograms as always, Richard.

Just imagine what you could to with an 8-element array. ;)
